The Soft Shimo sweater is an updated version of the popular Shimo sweater worked with thicker yarn and larger needles. It’s worked from the top down in stockinette stitch with beautiful lace at front and cuffs.\u003cbr\u003eThe sweater begins with either a provisional or a long tail cast-on at the neckline, which is then folded over for a trendy double-layered look. The neckline is shaped with short rows for a better fit, followed by a beautiful lace pattern at the front. The body is knitted first, then the sleeves.
